The Uniform
The AWANA uniform is a vital part of the club program. Uniforms will be awarded after the clubber has finished the entrance booklet. This usually takes two to four weeks to complete. The privilege of wearing a uniform then becomes an award for completing this short beginning booklet. This usually takes two to four weeks of club. No awards will be given until the clubber has a uniform on which to display them.
Each club has a different uniform, but it is worn for the two or three years of that club. Each child should wear their uniform to club. A clean uniform helps the clubber to feel sharp and proud. Uniform inspections are given occasionally.
Team Competition
Each night of club there is a separate team contest. Every clubber is placed on one of four teams. Points will be given for games, wearing their uniform, bringing their handbook, handbook sections completed, and good discipline. Other items may be awarded at different times at the choice of the director. The winning team each night may be awarded a prize or AWANA bucks to redeem at the AWANA store.
