Little Blessings
Helps Christian
parents, volunteers and nursery teachers lay spiritual foundations for babies
and toddlers, by providing conversation that relates the child's activities
to God's love and care for him or her. Familiar
voices, sounds, and rhythms build security and trust in your infant.
From trust, hope emerges. Hope is the seed of our adult faith. We want
to partner with parents to foster the faith formation of children.
Our Philosophy
Spiritual development requires parterning with the Holy Spirit, prayer,
relationships, and experiences to help a child respond positively to
God.
Our Goal
Every child is to be affirmed, held and prayed for during the nursery experience.
How Do
We Implement This?
- Christian caregivers are used in our nurseries.
- We ask volunteers to commit for 3 months in one nursery instead of once
a month for a year to build
trusting friendships.
- We encourage caregivers to know, interact, pray for, sing, rock, and read
to children about the love of God.
